Dr Sergey Fedorine
Upper Gastrointestinal & General Surgeon in Sydney
Dr Sergey Fedorine is an Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon trained in Russia, Canada, Japan and Australia. He completed his fellowship training in general and upper gastrointestinal surgery and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2007.
Dr Fedorine has extensive experience in the area of oesphago-gastric surgery for benign and malignant conditions. He is a winner of the prestigious Fellowship of the International Society for Disease of the Oesophagus that enabled him to be trained and do research in one of the leading centres in Japan where he pioneered detection of the circulating cancer cells during surgery in patients with oesophageal cancer.
As a general surgeon, Dr Fedorine travels and attends various local and international surgical meetings and has extensive experience in many areas of Upper GI and General surgery.
Dr Fedorine is heavily involved in the training of registrars and medical students.
